About Us

Oak Ridge Builders has been locally owned and operated for over 40 years. The business was originally Don Bergelin Construction, known for custom home building in the Menomonie area. At the end of 2004, Don, of Don Bergelin Construction, retired from the construction business. At that time his son, Nick Holcomb, and former employee, Jeff Wildner, took over the business and renamed it, Oak Ridge Builders.

Jeff began working full time for Don Bergelin Construction in 1988. Nick began working part time for Don in 1994 while in high school and continued on throughout college while earning his Construction Degree from the Universtiy of Wisconsin - Stout. Both Nick and Jeff have many years of experience in all aspects of the construction process.

Oak Ridge Builders has used the same sub-contractors for many years, developing a great working relationship with them. This makes jobs run smoother and gives you, the customer, a better finished project. Oak Ridge Builders uses only the highest quality materials and puts customer satisfaction as their top priority!
